Dozens of photos and videos of the Copahue Volcano eruption, located on the border of Chile and Argentina, have surfaced online—but the vantage points have all been from Earth.
Astronaut Jeff Williams, who is about to surpass Scott Kelly for the most time spent in space, tweeted a photo of the eruption from NASA’s International Space Station (ISS) in the early afternoon of March 28.

During his current six-month mission, 58-year-old Williams will become the American record holder for the most cumulative days in space, topping Expedition 46 Commander Scott Kelly, who just completed his one-year mission on March 1.
