Nick Swisher, the outfielder for the New York Yankees, got married over the weekend to his girlfriend and actress Joanna Garcia, according to the New York Daily News.
The newspaper reported that various celebrities attended the ceremony.
Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez were at the celebration, as well was former NSYNC member Lance Bass. Reba McEntire and Jamie Lynn Sigler, a costar of Garcia on Better With You, attended as well.
“On way to what’s going to be an amazing week with my best friends celebrating two amazing people!!” Sigler said via her Twitter account.
Swisher said he has a “woman who I could not be more proud of,” according to E! Online.
“We do such a great job really pushing the other one to do better and I think that’s what you have to have,” he told E!. “My old man told me a long time ago you need to marry your best friend, and I think that’s exactly what I’m doing.”
