On weeknights between March 28 and April 4, the MTA’s service on the 1-line will be suspended for maintenance, according to the MTA’s website.
Suspensions will span 96th Street to Dyckman Street, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m, Monday to Friday.
During the subway work, the train will be split in two lengths—from Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street to Dyckman Street, skipping the 207th Street station.
The second train will run from South Ferry to 96th Street, and continue on the 3-line from 96th to 148th Street, skipping the 145th Street station.
As an alternative, the MTA will provide a free shuttle bus during these times. The route will span between 96th and 168th along Broadway, and 168th and 191st along St. Nicholas Avenue.
At Dyckman Street, passengers can hop on a shuttle to the the A-line from the 1-line, with the option of getting on the C-line there, or at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.
