Minimum bet $1.6 million: In China’s Galaxy Macau, on the 32nd floor, there is a casino lounge that has a minimum bet of $1.6 million (or 10 million yuan).
The Galaxy Macau is drawing high-rollers, raking in $38 billion in revenue last year, reports Business Insider.
About two-thirds of the casino revenue in Macau comes from gambling on credit because of restrictions of taking cash out of China, according to Bloomberg.
Above the 32nd floor, or Sky 32, there is Sky 33, with a minimum bid requirement of half as high as the floor below.
VIPs that gamble at the casino, if they spend enough, get complimentary split-level presidential suites at the adjoining Banyan Tree hotel, which features amenities such as a private swimming pool and a massage bed.
