Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles may have beaten the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, but that didn’t stop the Cowboys’ Tashard Choice from getting an autograph from Vick.
For his nephew, of course.
Following a 30-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys’ Tashard Choice sought out Eagles quarterback Michael Vick for his autograph. Vick obliged, signing his autograph on a white glove for Choice.
According to the Associated Press, fans were not too happy with the move.
Choice apologized after getting the autograph.
“If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me,” Choice said via Twitter.
“I apologize to the people it was just an innocent [gesture] for my nephew.”
Choice said his nephew was a huge fan of the high-flying quarterback.

“My little nephew says he’s his brother,” Choice said, according to ESPN. “My little nephew is 2 years old, so I had to get one for him. I just admire somebody who comes from those circumstances and comes back and proves everybody wrong. I’ve got nothing but respect for him.”
Vick didn’t have a problem with the signature request, calling Choice “a great guy,” ESPN reported.
“It doesn’t surprise me,” Vick added.
