Two “dangerous” mentally ill patients at the Western State Hospital in Washington, escaped on Wednesday. One of them has been taken back into custody after being spotted on a public bus.

The other, a murder suspect, is still loose in the state of Washington. A massive manhunt for him is underway.

Mark Alexander Adams, 59, was detained by police 30 miles north of the hospital earlier today, ABC News reports. Adams has been treated at the hospital after a domestic violence arrest.

Anthony Garver, 28, who had escaped with Adams, is still at large. Garver was arrested in 2013 for first-degree murder, but was declared incompetent to stand trial.

Garver is accused of murdering a woman by gagging her with a ball of cloth, stabbing her 24 times, then slitting her throat.

He is 5 foot 8 inches and weighs 250 pounds, the authorities said.
