The LG G3 is just out, and a “premium” version may be available.
Korean website Naver says that a LG G3 “Prime” will be released on July 25, 2014.
The phone is has a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13 mega-pixel camera, LTE-A support CAT 6, and a 3,000mAh battery pack.
As Bluetooth earlier gave official “SIG” certification to an upgraded, but unnamed, LG G3 model, the LG-F460S, this news could be reliable.
However, the LG G3 “Prime” could be available in Korea only.
The “S” designation of the LG G3 “Prime” could mean that the phone is meant for the South Korean carrier SK Telecom.
Also, GforGames notes that there is a “LG-F460L,” codenamed “Tiger,” but the phone was ultimately meant only for the South Korea carrier LG U+.
Should the LG G3 “Prime” be an international model and is not a Korea-only release, then it can be expected to be the “premium” version of LG’s latest LG G3.
The LG G3 “Prime” has been speculated to feature a genuine metal case. Samsung’s own “premium” model, the speculated Galaxy S5 “Prime,” is said to be of metal construction.
There is not official confirmation yet of the LG G3 Prime.
