Kesha Claims ‘Freedom’ to Record Music If Recants Rape Allegations

Singer Kesha wants to record music outside of her recording contract with Sony—and would only be able to do so if she recants her rape allegations against producer, Dr. Luke, according to the singer.

In an Instagram photo uploaded on April 3, the Nashville native claimed that she was “offered freedom” if she would publicly apologize for her allegations. She doesn’t say who made the offer.

I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.

Gottwald has always denied the allegations by Kesha, tweeting he considered her “a little sister.”

The record producer is behind the 29-year-old’s multi-platinum hit, “Tik Tok.” The two met when the singer was 18 and she was later signed to his management company. 

In February 2016, a judge in Manhattan Supreme Court, denied the breach of contract between the pair. Kesha, exited the court inconsolable to the sight of outpouring support from fans, according to the Mirror.
