Chez Gabriela Studio in Beverly Hills allegedly bilked Jennifer Aniston, Cher and other A-list celebrities out of money, according to charges filed on Thursday.

The owner of the salon, Maria Gabriella Perez, ran a credit card scam that fraudulently charged $280,000 over the span of a year, reported TMZ, which obtained the legal document. The website reported that the U.S. Secret Service agents busted Perez, 51, in the “skimming” operation.

Among those schemed out of money are Liv Tyler, Melanie Griffith, Anne Hathaway and Scott Speedman.

Tyler got hit the worst with Perez stealing $214,000 from the star’s bank account.

ABC reported that Perez allegedly kept the credit card information of the stars and used it for illegal purchases.

If convicted on charges, Perez could get as much as 25 years in prison.

On “Good Morning America,” Aniston said that she had foreseen the arrest of the salon owner.

“We had a situation that was not cool so I just stopped going to her,” said Aniston on “Good Morning America.” “I knew something like this would eventually happen because there’s no way you can get away with that. It’s terrible.”

She added that she stopped using the salon five years ago.

The salon owner’s lawyer Jerod Gunsberg told ABC news that Perez is innocent. “We fully expect that once all the facts come out that she will be exonerated of all the charges, and she is innocent,” he said.
