You’re one of the few lucky people who has actually managed to get your hands on an Apple Watch — so naturally, it’s time to dive in and take it apart.

While we certainly don’t recommend disassembling Apple’s new smartwatch yourself, some people have a knack for these things and their curiosity gets the best of them.

Well, if you absolutely have to pry open your shiny new Apple Watch, you might as well follow a guide created by some pros.

The folks over at smartphone component reseller ETrade Supply often put smartphone disassembly guides together, but today they have turned their attention to Apple’s first wearable device, the Apple Watch.

Note: iFixit contacted us to let us know that the photos and text from the aforementioned guide were taken without permission from the iFixit website. As a result, the link to ETrade Supply has been removed.

Despite how sleek and compact the Apple Watch is, it’s surprisingly easy to take apart. Also, you only need a handful of inexpensive tools to get the job done, so you won’t even have to worry about investing in a bunch of specialty tools.

Again, we highly recommend you steer clear of disassembling the Apple Watch yourself unless you’re a professional. If you just can’t stop yourself though, follow the link below in our source section for a relatively simple guide complete with photos to help you out along the way.
