Famous human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng encountered a car accident on his way to Shijiazhuang to avoid persecution.

Driven away from his home by the Chinese communist regime, Gao was driving from Beijing to Shijiazhuang in Hebei province accompanied by Mr. Ma Wendu. At 3:45 p.m. on March 26, approximately 189 km from Beijing, they suddenly saw a huge vehicle parked on the highway blocking oncoming traffic. It was too late to brake. Just as Gao was about to turn his car to the right, another huge vehicle squeezed in closely from his right side and forced Gao’s car to the left.

“If only that vehicle could give way to us, we could have avoided the accident. But not only did they not give way, they even squeezed in on us. It was extremely dangerous!” Luckily, neither Gao nor Ma were wounded. Mr. Gao said, “The armor plate of that huge vehicle pierced through my left door. But strangely enough, the plate curled up after piercing through. Otherwise I would surely be wounded.”

At 4:30 p.m., when the Epoch Times journalist reached him on his mobile phone, attorney Gao was waiting beside the highway for the police to come and deal with the accident. The vehicle, which had crushed them, escaped long ago. Mr. Gao said that after the police dealt with the accident, Mr. Ma Wendu would drive the car back to Beijing to have it repaired. Meanwhile, he would be staying at Dingzhou in Hebei province for a while to calm himself down.

The Epoch Times columnist Gong Ping commented, “I don’t rule out the possibility that this accident was created by the Chinese communist authorities, as they are well aware of attorney Gao’s every movement. The Chinese communist regime is entirely responsible for driving Gao away from his home. The predicament attorney lawyer Gao was caught in for the past more than 100 days, was caused solely by the CCP. The CCP must ensure Gao’s safety. If Gao encounters any danger, the international community will surely hold the CCP responsible.
