The Galaxy Note 4 could have a three sided display.
According to ZDNet Korea, Samsung’s upcoming flagship “phablet” will feature a small readable screen on the phone’s side.
ZDnet’s sources also indicate that the Galaxy Note 4 will include a Youm panel, a type of flexible screen which Samsung demonstrated in 2013.
However, as these sort of displays can only be produced in limited numbers, the three-sided Galaxy Note 4 could be a Korea-only product.
The Galaxy Note 4 is slated for a September 3, 2014 launch, according to The Korea Times. Samsung will be holding an Unpacked event in Berlin, Germany, just a couple of days before the IFA electronics trade fair starts.
Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint should be carrying the Galaxy Note 4 in the United States.
