Samsung should be launching the much anticipated Galaxy Note 4 come September.
Traditionally, Samsung will release a top end mobile device in September to get a slice of the consumer pie from Apple, which also debuts its latest smartphone in September.
The Korean tech giant’s April-June quarter profits have already dropped 20 percent to 6.3 trillion won ($6.1 billion) from 7.8 trillion won a year earlier, and they won’t want to lose out again when Apple rolls out its new device.
According to The Korea Times, Samsung will announced the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3, just a couple of days before the IFA electronics trade fair kicks off in Berlin, Germany.
SamMobile, Samsung firmware and rumors tracking website, recent released an invite for a Samsung Unpacked event on September 3. An Unpacked event, as the name implies, is one where Samsung shows off its latest and greatest device. SamMobile subsequently deleted the post, but the invite managed to find its way around the web.
