Forbes Magazine released their annual list of the top 100 celebrities in the U.S., titled The Celebrity 100. At the top of the list was long time talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah was entered as having an income of $315 million last year which helped push her up to the number one seat on the list. The positioning of the stars on the Forbes 100 celebrity list is based on the individual’s Money Rank, TV/Radio Rank, Press Rank, Web Rank, and Social Rank. The combination of the different categories determine the person’s ultimate position on the list.

Director James Cameron brought in a reported $210 million last year which is more than hip-hop star Beyonce Knowles, but Cameron landed at the number three spot due to his low rankings in other categories. Knowles brought home $87 million last year, but her popularity on television and the web bumped her up to the number two spot on the list, ahead of Cameron.

Eccentric musical super-star Lady Gaga landed forth on the 100 top celebrities list with an income of $62 million last year. She picked up the top score in Web Rank as well as Social Rank.

Rounding out the top five on the Forbes 100 list of top celebrities was professional golfing icon Tiger Woods. Woods made a reported $105 million last year, but had low rankings in Web Rank as well as Social Rank.
