A passing typhoon caused flooding in Malabon, located in the metropolitan area of Manilla on Tuesday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration warned that low pressure areas near the central part of the country may turn into a tropical cyclone.
According to local media reports, at least 13 people have been killed throughout the country due to the floods caused by the tropical depression.
Civil defense administrator Benito Ramos said that around one million people were affected by floods in most of the country.
