‘Duck Dynasty’ record: The finale for “Duck Dynasty” on Wednesday night broke A&E’s viewer records, it was reported.
The Deadline website said that the reality show about Louisiana family was watched by 9.6 million viewers, meaning that the season ender was up 48 percent.
The season two finale drew 6.5 million viewers in December.
The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that “Duck Dynasty” drew 5.5 million adults in the key 18-49 demographic. That number puts it ahead of all cable broadcasts for Wednesday night and beat out “American Idol.”
In the finale, the Robertsons head to Hawaii for a vacation and partake in surfing and other activities.
