Crystal Bowersox, last season’s American Idol runner-up, got married on the same day as thousands of other couples — Oct. 10, 2010, or “10/10/10.”
People magazine reported that Bowersox wed her longtime boyfriend and fellow musician Brian Walker.
The 25-year-old singer announced their plans several weeks ago.
“Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox told the magazine. “I can’t believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We’re one happy WalkerSox family.”
The two got married during a private ceremony in front of 60 family members and friends. She wore a hemp and cotton wedding gown made by Vermont-based designer Tara Lynn.
Bowersox will soon head to the recording studio to make her debut album.
