China Makes Its Own Rules, Says Congressional Commission
China has not lived up to its commitments made 10 years ago when the United States granted Most Favored Nation status to it, a report says.
On Nov. 16 on Capitol Hill, William Reinsch (L), chairman of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), and Daniel Slane, vice chairman, released the 2011 USCC annual report to Congress. Reinsch served as undersecretary for Export Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Slane has extensive international business experience, including operating a business in China.
