Charlie Sheen’s exes, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, are both after Charlie Sheen for more child support.
Richards and Mueller are allegedly meeting with their business managers and a psychologist for one of Sheen’s children, according to a TMZ report released on April 28.
The meetings are to strategize a case to get more child support from Sheen, claiming the kids are at serious risk.
Sheen was previously paying $55,000 a month to both Mueller and Richards, however, he claimed he no longer had enough money to make those payments. The judge then reduced the monthly price to $10,000.
Mueller and Richards weren’t happy with the change, saying they can’t afford basic bills, especially since one child is receiving intense psychological help, according to TMZ. Insurance is not helping with covering basic bills.
Meanwhile, court documents show Sheen was unable to pay the monthly $55,000 for his 7-year-old twins. Mueller said the actor only paid $21,000 for both March and April, according to People.
Legal records show the “Two and a Half Men” star said he didn’t have enough to pay, since the original child support agreement was made in 2011 when he was making $613,000 per month while working on the comedy show. Documents show he now makes an estimated $87,384 per month.
Sheen had also previously said in interview with Matt Lauer that he was extorted for $10 million because he hid his HIV-positive status.
The actor also faces a lawsuit from Richards. She sued him in January for $1.2 million, claiming he did not provide all the child monetary support he promised
“Denise Richards is not satisfied that she has received $660,000 tax free each year for almost 10 years,” Sheen’s attorney, Martin Singer, told People in a statement at the time.
“It is not enough money for her, besides the approximate $10 million she has received from Charlie under her short marriage,” he added.
