Candice Bergen, best known for her Emmy Award-winning role in “Murphy Brown”, is going to pen another memoir, according to reports on Thursday.
Bergen, 64, published another memoir years ago in 1984, called “Knock Wood,” before she started her role in “Murphy Brown.”
The actress wanted to release another memoir but her TV acting career took off and she sidelined the project. Bergen also had a brief role in “Boston Legal” as a lawyer.
“Some authors are worth waiting for, even if you have to wait for two decades, and Candice Bergen is one of them,” stated Jonathan Karp, Simon and Schuster executive, according to Reuters.
“Candy has proven with her first book she is a natural story teller -- funny and honest on the page. I look forward to publishing the second part of her rich life story,” said Priscilla Painton, an editor at Simon and Schuster.
