Ariana Grande had a full conversation with “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon—while lip-syncing to popular hit songs.
The two were backstage on April 25 talking about #ThrowbackThursday and plans for the weekend. Grande and Fallon lip-synced to songs by Justin Bieber, Sia, Beyonce, Frank Sinatra, and Rihanna, among others in the two-and-a-half minute clip.
They both said hello and shared photos of their younger selves. The singer showed a picture of herself as a child, while Fallon shared a picture of him when he was 17.
“Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days,” said Fallon lip-syncing to the song “Stressed Out” by twenty one pilots.
They also got into an argument.
“Why you gotta be so rude,” said Grande lip-syncing the song “Rude” by MAGIC!
“Is it too late now to say sorry?” replied Fallon referring to Justin Bieber’s hit song.
They also shared what they planned to do over the weekend. Fallon said he planned to go to Home Depot to check out the lighting section and wanted “to swing from the Chandelier,” like singer Sia.
“That’s really dangerous,” said Grande about Fallon’s plan. He responded with Grande’s own song “Dangerous Woman,” which she sang during the show.
Other songs included “Cake by the Ocean,” which was Grande’s plan for the weekend, and Beyoncé’s “Sandcastles,” Meghan Trainor’s “No,” Justin Bieber’s “What do You Mean” and “Bye Bye Bye” by boy band N'Sync.
