Local media is reporting police have discovered 11 dead bodies at a military barracks in the Cape Verde islands off West Africa.
Eight soldiers and three civilians were found shot to death.
Local newspaper ‘A Semana’ says two of three civilians were Spaniards.
Reports say the barracks were home to soldiers protecting communications hubs that civilians were repairing.
A news conference is scheduled for the afternoon of April 26.
