A video has surfaced online of Lauren Bruzzone, a former attorney who five years ago decided that she wanted to push herself to become more active and healthy. Like many people, part of this healthier lifestyle was to join a local gym, but unlike most people who join a gym in their twenties or thirties, Lauren was 67 years of age when she first wandered into her local fitness center. Now 72, the retired lawyer regularly attends the gym seven days a week, 365 days a year, to undertake a variety of exercises and classes.

The video states that Lauren has been active her whole life but became a CrossFit devotee five years ago when a friend introduced her to the intense workout program. She now visits her gym nearly every day at 6 am where she undergoes a strict regime of push ups, pull ups, crunches, and a vast variety of other activities that keep her in a condition that many people half her age would be envious of.

During the video we see the lean 72 year old attempt such difficult and energetic activities as atomic sit ups with a weight, burpees over a bar, flipping heavy tires, shoulder presses, as well as lifting weights. The ease at which she completes each exercise is both impressive and an example of the fact that you are never too old to change and improve yourself both mentally and physically.

Needless to say, the clip has gone viral and has led to a boom in people following her on Instagram, where she now posts regular updates regarding her inspirational lifestyle, as well as tips and other advice for those looking to get healthy too.
