300 Residents in High-Rise Building in Harbin Quarantined

Location: Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China

On Feb. 24, a patient in Harbin City was diagnosed with coronavirus on Feb. 24, 2020. All of his neighbors from the No. 2 Building of Baoyu neighborhood, about 300 people, were sent to a designated hotel to be quarantined. The notice on the right says every resident must cooperate or legal action will be pursued.

Man in the background: Many ambulances are here, and police cars. They are in front of a hotel, don’t know the name of this hotel. So scary.

Another man: Look. More than 10 ambulances were dispatched today to take away more than 300 people from the Baoyu neighborhood.

Harbin City Under Lockdown

On Feb. 25, Harbin’s coronavirus emergence level was elevated to the same level as Hubei Province. The Harbin’s Dongcheng Urban Development Committee has restricted all Harbin residents from traveling to Beijing. Meanwhile, those already in Beijing have been ordered to immediately self-isolate.
