A secondary school in Sydney has entered into lockdown while a staff member has sustained a small injury after a student allegedly brought a knife to the campus.

According to a New South Wales (NSW) Police Force statement obtained by The Epoch Times, emergency services arrived at the Chifley College Dunheved campus in the western suburb of St Marys at around 1:20 p.m. on May 9 to respond to the incident.
