A sophisticated crime gang allegedly controlled the supply of sought-after cocaine, manipulating the drug’s price while distancing themselves from their illicit trade through a network built on anonymity.

More than a tonne of the drug—worth over $1.8 billion (US$1.2 billion)—was allegedly ferried to customers in specially modified cars by a group known as The Commission over a four-month period.
