Plane Crash in Eastern Congo Kills Three, Says Governor

KAVUMU, Democratic Republic of Congo—A small plane crashed shortly after take-off in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday, killing all three people on board, the region’s governor said.

The plane was carrying two pilots and a passenger when it crashed near Kavumu airport, which serves Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu province.
