Four alleged members of a transnational crime syndicate operating in Melbourne have been charged and more than 560 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine has been seized.

Australian Federal Police say it is the largest importation of liquid methamphetamine in Victorian history, worth more than $123 million.

The AFP, the Australian Border Force, and Victoria Police will hold a press conference on Monday to detail the results of the investigation and arrests.
