Former Alberta Cabinet Minister Turned Independent Senator Elaine McCoy Dies

OTTAWA—Sen. Elaine McCoy, who sat as an Independent from the day she was appointed to the upper chamber, has died.

McCoy died Tuesday in Ottawa. She was 74.
