The father of a 17-year-old Ontario boy who died in September 2021 has launched a fundraiser to raise money to sue the federal government, alleging that his son died after being required to take a Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccine to play hockey.
Mr. Hartman said that in order to appeal, he was required to obtain new medical evidence.
“I do have that medical evidence now,” he said, adding that an American pathologist has “studied Sean’s tissue samples and stained them to look for spike protein in his body where it shouldn’t have been.”
Mr. Hartman said he will now “challenge the federal government and demand accountability for vaccine-related deaths.”
“This is the legal case we all need to be fought and decided! The truth must come to light! All my boy wanted was to play hockey and they forced him to get the vaccine. Now he is lost to us forever,” said the father.
In a statement to The Epoch Times on Aug. 10, Mr. Hartman indicated he has recently retained two lawyers to represent him for the case.
Health Canada did not respond to requests for comment by press time.
“We will be filing a lawsuit against the Canadian government by the end of September. We need to raise enough money to pay for expert witnesses for testimony, travel, and accommodations Doctor Peter McCullough will be coming to Canada to testify,” said Mr. Hartman.
Sean’s Death
The fundraiser indicates that the money raised, over $36,000 as of press time, will be used to pay expert witnesses, legal fees, and disbursements.“The significance of this case extends beyond Sean’s untimely and heartbreaking death; it addresses a broader need for transparency and accountability in mandated pharmaceutical interventions and public health measures,” said the fundraiser web page.
Some of the donations will be directed to Dr. McCullough’s charitable foundation.
During the pandemic, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association implemented a mandatory vaccine policy for any player aged 12 and over.
“They sent him home with only Advil. The doctor didn’t do two blood tests that he should have done. I’ve been told by another doctor that he should have done them. And on the morning of September 27, he was found dead on the floor beside his bed.”
“He was a perfectly healthy boy. He had no underlying conditions,” Mr. Hartman said. “They don’t know why he died. Nobody can tell me why he died. And I asked the coroner, ‘can you tell me 100 percent it wasn’t the vaccine?’ And he said ‘no.’”
