Australia’s State Border Closures Harm ‘Inextricable’ Links: Premier

Australia’s eastern state, New South Wales (NSW), has recorded eight new COVID-19 cases, while Premier Gladys Berejiklian has again called for her Queensland counterpart to ease border restrictions.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has again implored her Queensland counterpart to revise her hardline position on borders, saying Australia’s eastern states are “inextricably linked” and needed to cooperate.
