The Australian Federal Court on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by Australia’s competition regulator against Google LLC for allegedly misleading users about the use of their personal data.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) filed a lawsuit in July 2020 against Google for allegedly misleading users to obtain their consent to expand personal data collection for targeted advertising.
