Canada has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and with zipline tours from coast-to-coast, adventure seekers can find thrills and beauty at the same time.

Whether you’re gliding above Niagara Falls or exploring the treetops in the mountains, here are seven of the most amazing ziplines in the country.

Niagara Falls, Ontario

Ziplining over Niagara Falls is one of the top adventures in Canada. The fully guided experience is a hands-free way to see the falls from the air. More than 300,000 people have already taken the trip, according to the Wildplay website. It takes between 90 and 120 minutes to complete the ride, which is open to anyone aged 7 or older.

Carolinian Forest & Turkey Point Marsh, Ontario

Tour the treetops in the Carolinian Forest and Turkey Point Marsh on a 2.5-hour tour. This zipline combines two rope sky-bridges and eight ziplines, with a 40-foot rappel at the end. It’s a thrill-seeker’s dream. To ride, you need to be at least 8 years old.

Sauble Beach, Ontario

Zipline meets roller coaster at this unique, one-of-a-kind experience in Sauble Beach, the second-longest freshwater beach in the world. The zipline coaster has a fixed track like a roller coaster and riders are attached to a trolley as they glide along the ride at Ontario’s second-longest freshwater beach. Riders must be more than 4 feet 4 inches tall and less than 6 feet 2 inches.

Grouse Mountain, BC

Soar through the treetops at B.C.’s popular, year-round adventure destination Grouse Mountain. Tours take two hours and offer amazing views of the mountain ranges and nearby Vancouver. Five ziplines on a dual-line system allow two people to travel side-by-side on the adventure to scenic Peak Chair.

West Edmonton World Waterpark, Alberta

Stretched over the West Edmonton World Waterpark wave pool, the Skyflyer Zipline takes riders on a fast-paced aerial experience. The 143-metre zipline spans the entire length of the pool. With four parallel lines, friends and family can experience the ride together, and have a photo taken to remember the experience.

Ontree Fun and Adventure Park, Nova Scotia

Ontree offers more than 60 ziplines and 200 platforms along its courses that stretch in excess of 150 acres. Ziplines reach more than 289 metres long and are up to 24 metres off the ground. With various obstacles throughout the park, it will be an adventure to remember.

Snider Mountain Ranch, New Brunswick

Try a winter zipline tour at TimberTop at Snider Mountain Ranch. Adventurers will travel across 13 ziplines and six sky bridges. The experience wraps up with a campfire, hot chocolate, cookies, and a tractor-pulled wagon or sleigh ride back to the ranch. Riders must be 8 or older.
