A 3-year-old child was randomly stabbed by a woman on the street in Tbilisi, the capital city of nation Georgia, before he was discharged from the hospital days later.
She managed to flee the scene, but police later arrested her. If convicted, she faces 10 years in prison.
The child was rushed to the hospital via an ambulance. According to the Journal, he was discharged from Zhvania Clinic.
“The state of health has improved, we intend to discharge the child. The patient had fairly deep wounds in the area of the nose and right cheek. We provided initial surgical care to the patient and then, stitched the wound. Currently, the health condition has improved and he will be discharged,” Natia Vasadze, maxillofacial surgeon, told the news outlet.
Other details about the case are not clear.
Police have not released a motive in the case.

A Washington, D.C., woman was stabbed to death while working her second job as a dog walker, leaving a small yellow pit bull mix howling nearby as neighbors rushed to her aid.
