The seizure was a result of a drug investigation led by the Brantford Police Service in early 2021, which was funded by the Ontario government and received assistance from the CBSA and Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, the Brantford Police Service said it identified a group of local individuals believed to be involved in trafficking and distributing cocaine throughout the City of Brantford and neighbouring regions.
Two Brampton men, Jugrajpreet Singh and Amrinder Singh, both 22 years old, have been charged with possession for the purpose to traffic and importation of cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
