Eleven people were killed and 18 others injured in a bus crash in Kami village, near Cochabamba, central Bolivia.
The vehicle fell more than 200 meters (656 feet) down a ravine, police reported on Saturday.
The rural public transport bus had been traveling from Kami, some 180 kilometers (112 miles) southeast of La Paz, and was bound for the central city of Cochabamba.
Local radio stations reported that the crash was due to a mechanical failure.
Kami is a town where several Quechua communities live.
Accidents on Bolivia’s poorly maintained roads result in hundreds of deaths every year.
