SAN DIEGO—A 22-year-old woman is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the stomach near Emerald Hills, the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) reported Jan. 18.
Officers were dispatched to 1000 Pyramid St. at 8:45 p.m. and found the woman had been struck by a bullet, according to the department.
The five male suspects fled southbound after shooting toward the woman, according to the police department.
There was no further description of the suspects and no one was in custody, according to authorities.
The SDPD’s Southeastern Division Detectives are investigating the shooting.
