Divya Kaushal – College student

“I am actually not here because of the storm. I am just grocery shopping and I had an appointment near here so that’s why I came by. I kind of pick the worst day. (laughs) I didn’t think the lines would be this bad though.”

Adam Harrison Levy – Film producer and director

“I’m not an apocalyptic shopper, but I do have a ten-year-old daughter, so I thought I would have a couple of things in the refrigerator for her. I’m not worried about the snow, I think New York is a city of overreaction.”

Lorraine Rubio – Journalist

“I have one favorite frozen vegetable medley that is basically my every meal. I am a pretty picky eater so I am committed. I came here because of the snow in case I am locked in Brooklyn for the next day or two. This is my first time I ever waited outside of Trader Joe’s.”

Rodrigo Lacal – GlideSlope,  Sports Consulting Firm

“I am here because of the snow, had to finish my grocery shopping that I didn’t do over the weekend. I am stocking up because of it.

ET: Are you worried about it?

“I think ever since Sandy there has been an over exaggeration with every single storm, but I am a little worried about running out of fixed food at home, so just in case I am piling up some food at home. I am not worried about the power, I think it will be fine.”

Kashi Madhani  – GlideSlope, Sports Consulting Firm

“We primarily came here because it was a tag team effort, we just dipped out of work for a little bit so I figured I would stand in line for him [Rodrigo Lacal] as he shopped and vise versa. Safety in numbers at Trader Joe’s.”
