The Washington Post editorial board has said it hopes Tesla CEO Elon Musk “doesn’t win” in his bid to purchase Twitter.

In an opinion piece published on Sunday, titled “Let’s hope Elon Musk doesn’t win his bid for Twitter,” the editorial board called Musk’s hopes to purchase the social media platform a “hostile takeover” adding, “let’s hope he doesn’t succeed.”
