The raw CCTV footage from the Vhong Navarro case supports Navarro’s story of what happened.
Navarro has been saying all along that he was set up before being blackmailed and beaten by a group led by businessman Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo.
Lee and Cornejo, on the other hand, said that Navarro tried to rape Cornejo and Lee and others helped break up the attempt.
The newly released CCTV footage from Forbeswood Heights condominium in Bonifacio Global City, where Cornejo lives, shows her exiting the building shortly after Navarro arrived, and did not appear frazzled in the least.
The video supports Navarro’s story that he and Cornejo were not in the apartment at the same time.
Sworn statements from Navarro and multiple others, including security staff at the building, show that as he was going up to Cornejo’s apartment she was going downstairs.
Soon after Lee and two men entered the lobby and went to the elevator.
Then Cornejo re-entered the lobby.
Lee’s companion’s then leave the lobby, followed by another man entering the lobby, followed by Lee’s sister Bernice Lee, and then Lee and Cornejo.
About 15 minutes after Lee and the men went upstairs, the footage shows Navarro, the Lee siblings, Cornejo, and five men leaving the building.
Navarro’s hands were tied behind his back.
