The Condor Squadron, consisting of WWII North American AT-6 airplanes, will be shooting through the sky just before the fireworks for an added rush of historic and patriotic dazzle. Adding to the brilliance of the display is the fact that the fireworks will be shot off a barge located on Doheny State Beach, adding extra sparkle as the lights bounce off the water.

The airshow begins at 6 p.m., with fireworks following from 9 to 9:30 p.m. Since this is a popular event, the city is expecting major traffic congestion. Visitors are encouraged to use the Dana Point Trolley system. For more information.
