Body camera and dash camera footage shows a handcuffed woman in Tulsa, Oklahoma, stealing a police car.
In the footage, as the officers are discussing the arrest, the woman is seen moving from the passenger seat to the driver seat of the police cruiser.
“What is she doing?” an officer asks the other one. “She’s trying to steal your car,” another officer replied.
The officer then tries to unlock the door, but the woman drove away.
NewsOn6 reported that Frost jumped a curb and sped down a road in Tulsa. Frost then stopped at a Studio 6 Motel and got out and ran, but police caught up to her.
Frost pleaded guilty to four counts in May 2018. She was sentenced to three years in prison.
“I heard the sound of the electric door locks from inside my police car,” an officer said in the affidavit, the report said. “I turned around and observed that Frost had slipped her handcuffs to the front and was climbing over the driver’s seat.”
Frost was charged with larceny of an automobile, possession of a stolen vehicle, escape from arrest, resisting arrest, and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
