An undercover video released on Tuesday shows a CNN reporter saying Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings “looks bad.”

“Now, I’ll tell you this, Joe Biden has a problem,” Evan Perez told an undercover Project Veritas reporter in the video. “His son was trading in his name. It looks bad, it smells bad.”

“It’s not illegal. Nothing is illegal about it,” Perez claimed. “I mean, you’re benefiting from your father’s name. You’re trading his name.”

The Project Veritas reporter, going along with Perez’s train of thought, said “Everybody does that, though.”

“Then that’s the problem,” Perez responded. “How do you go and say that Donald Trump is the person, get him out of here and convict him when your son is doing the same [expletive]?”

Project Veritas, a group that seeks to expose wrongdoing in media and government, has released a number of clips from an insider at the network who secretly recorded conversations at CNN. A video released on Monday showed CNN President Jeff Zucker pushed his employees to focus on impeachment.

The CNN insider that provided some of the footage to Project Veritas said Zucker had a clear personal vendetta against President Donald Trump.

Another clip released on Tuesday showed Zucker pushing Sen. Kamala Harris’s (D-Calif.) demand that Twitter remove Trump’s account.

“I think it’s a good segment ... not going to happen but it’s a good talking—a good segment,” he said.

Trump on Tuesday said he thought Zucker might resign.

Neither Zucker nor anyone else at CNN have responded to the videos.

Hunter Biden, meanwhile, sat down with ABC with his first interview in months, changing his answer on a key question and responding when asked if would have gotten some of the positions he’s obtained if he wasn’t the son of former Vice President and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“If your last name wasn’t Biden,” he was asked, “do you think you would’ve been asked to be on the board of Burisma?”

“I don’t know. I don’t know. Probably not, in retrospect, But that’s—you know—I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden,” Biden responded.

“Because my dad was Vice President of the United States. There’s literally nothing, as a young man or as a full grown adult that—my father in some way hasn’t had influence over. It does not serve either one of us.”
Biden said he regretted being on the Burisma board as his father dealt with Ukraine. Joe Biden last year said that in 2016 he threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid from Ukraine unless the country ousted its top prosecutor, who was probing Burisma at the time. Biden has insisted everything he did was proper.

“In retrospect, look, I think that it was poor judgment on my part,” Hunter Biden said, also referring to his business dealings in China.
