President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday named Jim O’Neill to serve as deputy secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

O’Neill is tasked with enhancing management, transparency, and accountability within the department, aligning with Trump and Kennedy’s initiative to “Make America Healthy Again,” Trump said.

“Jim and RFK Jr. will fight in unison to ensure every American, and especially our most precious resource, our children, will live long and healthy lives and, Make America Great and Healthy Again!” Trump said in a statement.
