October is one of the best months for fun-loving families to visit San Diego, because so many awesome places offer admission to children for free this month.
Legoland
The Deal: One child free with the purchase of one adult ticket ($169). Visit legoland.com/california/promotions/llckidsgofree/Legoland is one of the best theme parks in southern California for young children (between the ages of 2 and 12) for its creativity, with nearly everything built out of Legos, play stations where kids can build and play with Legos, rides, and playgrounds. There’s also a new water park and an aquarium. Its annual Brick-or-Treat Halloween party is held every Saturday and Sunday in October.
The San Diego Zoo
