A 20-year-old man from New Braunfels, Texas, has pleaded guilty in a federal court in San Antonio to one count of attempting to receive a firearm to use to commit a felony.

Cameron Peterson’s guilty plea follows an investigation that uncovered his plans for mass shootings and the possession of illegal weapons and explosive devices, according to an Oct. 31 statement following his plea from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas.
