Suspect in Woodland Hills Hit-and-Run Collision Arrested

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.—A driver suspected of hitting a pedestrian at a crosswalk in Woodland Hills Nov. 22 evening was taken into custody following an approximately one-block pursuit that was terminated after the suspect crashed into two vehicles.

Several officers positioned nearby witnessed the pedestrian getting struck at the intersection of Victory and Topanga Canyon Blvd. around 6:05 p.m. Nov. 22 and immediately began administering aid to the victim as other officers pursued the suspect.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

The occupants of the two vehicles involved in the collision were treated at the scene, police said.
