Stan Lee’s daughter has revealed that prior to her late father’s death, the two were working on a brand new superhero called “Dirt Man.”
“I’ve been trying to get him to do a character with me my entire life. He did listen to me and we have been working on a character called ‘Dirt Man’,” she said.
“The last little angel we’ve got tucked away is Dirt Man,” she told TMZ. “Let’s get down and dirty, let’s do what’s going on and about love - let’s do Dirt Man.”
When asked to provide details about Dirt Man’s character or powers, J.C. Lee divulged only that “it’s very interesting.”
She added that she would continue to develop the superhero.

J.C. Lee also revealed that the family is setting up the “Stan Lee Literacy Foundation” to promote literacy for children and adults, fund educational programs for underprivileged children, and provide access to the arts in underserved communities.“The importance of the written word and the importance of reading is not to be underestimated,” J.C. Lee told TMZ. “One reason why Stan is Stan The Man is because he took his craft very seriously.”

The iconic comic book writer and Marvel editor credited with creating superheroes like Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, and many more—died on Monday, Nov. 12.Stan Lee is survived by his only daughter. His wife of 69 years died in 2017.
“My father gave it all up for the fans. He loved each and every one,” said J.C. Lee. “When I was in my very early teens and I worked at Marvel, I used to open up the fan letters. When my father could he answered every fan letter that he could answer.”
Other details about the incident are not clear.
Lee had been suffering from several illnesses over the past year or so. He had suffered bouts of pneumonia and vision problems, TMZ noted.
