A shooting was reported at the Pennsylvania, district judge’s office in Masontown in Fayette County, according to reports.

Triblive. The shooting occurred at around 2 p.m. local time at the office of District Judge Daniel Shimshock at 1 East Church Ave. It’s not clear if Shimshock was a victim in the incident.
KDKA reported that the shooting suspect, who was not identified, is dead. Three other people, including a police officer, were injured.
“It’s an ongoing situation. Multiple medical helicopters have been summoned to the scene,” a dispatcher said in the report.
Pennsylvania State Police and Masontown police are responding to the scene.
“I really can’t talk about it right now. I’m just too shaken to talk at this point,” Uniontown attorney David Kaiser told the outlet. He said he heard an argument before shots were fired.
Rosa Goff, who was awaiting a court hearing, said she saw a man chasing a woman and firing multiple shots. “He was shooting at everyone,” Goff told the
Observer-Reporter. The gunman ran past her and into the building.
“He looked scary. I thought I was ... the bullet just missed me,” Goff said.
Another witness said she heard three gunshots before someone walked out of the court, according to the report.
The Herald-Standard reported that the Fayette County coroner was called to the scene. The Albert Gallatin Area School District initiated a lockdown for Masontown Elementary, the report said.
According to
Ballotpedia, Shimshock was elected in the general election on Nov. 3, 2015.
Other details about the incident are not clear.
Masontown is located in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and has a population of about 3,450.
