Several Vehicles Vandalized and Broken into in Playa Del Rey and Venice

LOS ANGELES—Several vehicles were vandalized in Playa Del Rey and Venice, the Los Angeles Police Department said April 19.

There were four cars that were reported vandalized in Trolley Place and Sunridge Street in Playa Del Rey around 7:55 a.m. Thursday.

An additional four cars were vandalized and broken into in the 700 block of Brooks Avenue in Venice, according to an LAPD desk officer.

Trent Marlow, a victim whose car was vandalized told NBC news that he came out to go to work and found his was smashed in.

‘‘Then, I noticed my neighbor’s car was smashed in, and another neighbor’s car was smashed in,’' Mr. Marlow told NBC.

There was no suspect information immediately available, and the investigation was ongoing.
